37 EMOM’s for a 37th Bday Q

Conditions: 29 deg F, feels like 22 deg

YHC turned 37 yesterday. A perfect excuse to pick up the Q and choose random numbers to correlate to each other somehow. February 3 is also YHC’s 2 year anniversary of being in F3.

The Thang

Mosey to get coupons. Swabbie showed up late. No time for penalty burpees, he’d get them later.

Set up in a parking lane for EMOM – Every Minute on the Minute. Repeat each exercise set at the top of each minute. Any additional time during the minute is used for rest.

EMOM #1 – 14 minutes + 1 minute rest

  • 5 burpees
  • 5 cinder block jump squats
  • 10 curls

EMOM #2 – 6 minutes + 1 minute rest

  • 10 American Hammers (initially per side, but changed to total on 2nd minute)
  • 10 Crunchy Frogs
  • 10 Hello Dollys

EMOM #3 – 14 Minutes + 1 minute rest

  • Sprint to parking lane peninsula (we shortened this distance up in the middle of the EMOM, but full length at the beginning and end)
  • 10 merkins
  • Sprint back
  • 5 kettle bell swings

That totaled 37 minutes of EMOM (rest included)

Do 4 additional burpees. That totals 74 to signify 37th birthday and 2 years in F3.
